Rise Up and Shine

Rise Up and Shine

The Lord is calling your name,

So rise up and shine

He calls you with love and favor

So rise up and shine

Why sleep when the Father has good things in store?

Rise up and shine

You’ve slumbered and suffered enough

Rise up and shine

The world is getting darker, my love

So rise up and shine

It needs to see the Kingdom of Heaven

So rise up and shine

Rise up and shine

And banish the foray of fiery foes

Rise up and shine

And warm the frozen hearts of hatred

Rise up and shine

A cloud is suffocating the world

Rise up and shine

Through the smoke of war

Rise up and shine

So that kings and nations may see

Rise up and shine

And beam with God’s glorious light

You’ve slumbered and suffered enough

So Rise up and shine

Why sleep when the world needs the light you carry?

Rise up and shine

He calls you with love and favor

To rise up and shine

The Lord is calling your name

So rise up and shine
